Meet Ahmed, Principal Consultant (Cloud & DevOps)

When you talk to Ahmed, one thing becomes clear very quickly: he is energised by new challenges, emerging technologies and the opportunity to stay ahead of where the technology landscape is heading.

A Microsoft MVP and passionate community contributor, Ahmed spends a significant amount of his own time sharing what he learns with others to help them navigate what's next. Ahmed believes knowledge becomes more valuable when it's shared, and that is one of the reasons he feels so at home at LAB3.

Ahmed joined LAB3 two years ago as a Migrations Consultant, helping clients modernize and move to Azure. Since then, his career has continued to evolve. What started with cloud migrations expanded into building Enterprise Landing Zones and, more recently, helping clients establish secure and scalable AI Landing Zones.

The progression reflects a career-long willingness to step into new territory. Ahmed began his career in networks before recognizing the shift toward cloud computing and expanding into Cloud & DevOps. Today, he sees AI as the next major shift.

When Ahmed was first asked whether he had experience building Enterprise Landing Zones, the answer was simple: not yet.

Rather than being limited by what he had done before, Ahmed was trusted to take on the challenge. Supported by experienced colleagues and backed by LAB3's extensive documentation for LAB3's landing zone accelerator, he successfully delivered his first ELZ engagement for a major client and opened the door to a completely new area of work.

Today, Ahmed has moved to helping clients build the foundations they need for secure AI platforms tailored for their specific use cases and enjoys that every engagement brings a different set of challenges. He sees AI not as something separate from his existing expertise, but as the next evolution of it.

For Ahmed, these opportunities reflect three qualities that stand out about LAB3.

The first is trust. The second is the willingness LAB3sters have to share what they know. The third is a culture that genuinely celebrates success and recognizes great work. He describes all three as being instrumental in helping him take on new challenges throughout his career at LAB3.
